Theodoros Kalotinis

Theodoros Kalotinis was born and grew up in Heraklion, Crete. Everything started early. From his school years, his daily habit was to collect herbs and flowers for his herbarium. His love for nature and smells developed early since he grew up with his grandmother, who was a native of Smyrna.

On weekends, their favorite pastime was in his grandma’s kitchen, stuffed with herbs and spices. Little blindfolded Theo had to recognize the herbs and spices that were brought under his nose. She made the tastiest desserts for him with the most flavorful ingredients that he loved from a young age. In this way, he practiced his sense of smell, and his childhood game became a lifelong skill.

During adolescence, he became a perfume collector. Some years later, as a self-made perfumer starting from nothing but his passion and dream about perfumery, he wanted to create his personal perfume with substances from Greek nature. In 2012, he began obtaining essential oils and testing them. Day by day and throughout relentless hours of testing, he managed to produce his own personal patent for creating perfumes that combine unique raw materials of high perfumery with alcohol distilled from natural grapes. In 2014, he officially launched his first fragrances on the market. His pursuit of olfactory excellence was further honed through studies in Chemistry, a master's degree in Cosmetic Science, and global perfumery courses.

Today, the house of Theodoros Kalotinis Perfumer is known under the name of its creator, and it is the first Greek house of artisan perfume that transformed nature into inspiration. People from all over the world and the biggest beauty and fashion magazines like Vogue France, Elle, and L'Officiel, as well as TV shows and media, characterize him as "the king of gourmands" because he loves to create his favorite desserts into a fragrance with a realistic touch like no other.

The success of the house peaked in 2018 when Theodoros Kalotinis created personal perfumes for King Charles III and Queen Camilla. After discovering his talent, the growing reputation of the brand has expanded gradually all over the world via social media and mass communication.

Until now, he has supplied numerous Greek and international celebrities with his perfumes. It is the combination of classicism and high-quality natural substances that captivates the heart and trust of people who love perfumes known for their distinctiveness and authenticity.
